Licensed tour guide who offers cultural services in French, English and Spanish
licensed tour guide
I graduated as a guide in 2009. I studied in Narbonne and after my graduation I realized how much I loved this land that adopted me… The Cathar country has a wild charm like no other. History is everywhere! even in the smallest village, there are treasures from another time.
For as long as I can remember, I have always been interested by art and aesthetics.
I started drawing and painting during my childhood. My pleasure was to share it with my loved ones… My life journey then led me to art schools. I specialized in “art in the city”. After passing a bachelor’s degree in Plastic Arts I found out about the profession of tour guide. I knew right away that I was going to like it.
A family story
I grew up lulled with my father’s epic battle stories, and with the delicate and poetic tales of my grandfathe. I never imagined I would one day be so fascinated by this profession, which is just being like a history storyteller.
Finally, being a guide brings together what I aspire to see in my life. Simply marvel at the beauties that surround us, whether in architecture, nature or history, and share it with visitors from different horizons.
When I chose to learn several languages, my goal was to widen these very horizons: I can speak English and Spanish now. In the light of this experience I am able to use my creativity to meet new challenges and create new approaches to heritage. I use my artistic skills and passion to push the boundaries of cultural mediation with humour and good spirits. Please don’t hesitate, contact me.
